The Opportunity

The Director of Door‑to‑Door Sales is accountable for scaling and coaching neighborhood field teams. Your mission is to drive quality sales, market‑share growth, and world‑class customer experiences across the territory.

What You’ll Do 

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Area Managers and field representatives to exceed sales target, customer satisfaction, and KPIs 
  • Conduct in‑market coaching visits with Area Managers and representatives; model exemplary selling behaviors. 
  • Develop and execute territory strategies that maximize sales, ROI, and market share. 
  • Act as the primary field liaison for OSL – translating client objectives into executable playbooks and communicating progress and insights. 
  • Own performance metrics, forecasting and reporting; present business reviews to OSL leadership. 
  • Leverage cross-functional business partners to ensure program readiness and sustainability 
  • Develop new business opportunities through industry, competition, and market conditions awareness.  
  • Manage P&L levers (payroll, budget, travel spend) to deliver profitable growth 
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly sales and activation targets across assigned territories. 
  • Analyze competitive landscape and adjust strategies to grow market share. 
  • Oversee budgets, payroll, headcount planning and expense control. 
  • Drive recruitment and onboarding of high‑potential talent; maintain bench strength to support expansion 
  • Lead team cadence meetings, staffing reviews, and business reviews with stakeholders. 

 

 

 

Keys to Success   

  • 5 + years’ progressive sales experience, including 2+ years managing sales teams (telecom, solar, or D2D preferred). 
  • Proven record of exceeding revenue goals while maintaining top‑tier customer experience. 
  • Expert at leveraging data to diagnose opportunities and deploy actionable playbooks. 
  • Exceptional relationship‑builder and communicator; comfortable presenting to senior leadership 
  • Financial acumen—experience managing P&L and building ROI‑based business cases. 
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience  

Physical & Technical Requirements 

  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs occasionally. 
  • Proficiency with mobile devices (iPad/iPhone) and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with SalesRabbit platform a plus. 
  • Ability to operate motor vehicle
