OSL is looking for a Business Analyst to support the organization’s sales success and expansion. The role will be responsible for providing data driven insights that allow the organization to better execute and exceed objectives while also delivering regular reporting that track a variety of key measures on Sales activity. Communication skills will be critical as the analyst will work closely with a broad group of stakeholders in regional leadership teams and overall organization. The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of technical proficiency with the ability to learn new systems, processes, and databases. This role is remote, based in Philadelphia or New Jersey.

  • Produce timely and relevant sales analysis, reporting and insights to enable performance measurement, monito ring, decision-making and forecasting
  • Provide planned and ad-hoc reporting on sales trends and labor deployment
  • Monitor Sales performance and recommend action plans to drive results and uncover opportunities
  • Collaborate and build working relationships with members of the head office team to ensure alignment on reporting, be up to date on system and analysis to improve existing processes
  • Work with the business leaders to understand priorities and ensure their needs are being met with reporting and analytics analysis to drive the business forward
  • Lead the preparation for the quarterly Business performance review
  • Other duties as assigned


Candidate Qualifications;

  • 5+ years experience working in an analytical role within retail or telecom experience an asset
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or related experience
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong presentation skills, written and oral
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly and convincingly communicate, both written and oral, with both technical and non-technical internal customers
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, data manipulation and analysis
  • SQL and Tableau experience an asset
  • Detail-oriented individual with the ability to identify issues, and ensure accuracy when working with high volumes of data
  • Proven ability of using analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to balance and prioritize numerous tasks within a collaborative team environment
  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently
